“I understand most of our undergraduate students prefer to make a narrative film. It sounds cool. It seems fantastic. You know, having your name on big screen. But, we, for our master students in particular, will focus on documentary only. It is simply because documentary has more opportunity to be on market rather than narrative films. You have to fight with blockbuster movie to get a chance to be screened in cinema. If you have documentary, you don;t need to. Simply call the local TV station, and your work will be watched by thousands, may bye million people…” Prof. Eugene Martin, University of North Texas.

I think this will be my consideration to arrange a new curriculum for our comm-dept.
